Figures in period dress walk, stand, and converse along the path and on the lawns, with some seated and others in small groups; a few small dogs are visible near the center. Tall trees border the scene on both sides, and smaller garden beds and paths run parallel to the central avenue. In the sky above, layered clouds fill much of the upper area and a small flock of birds appears near the horizon. The composition is framed with a thin border around the entire image.
