Small boats with groups of people row in the foreground, their figures shaded with cross-hatching, and a pavilion-like structure sits on the pier with a small building behind it. The water reflects the vessels with delicate horizontal etching, and faint cloud shapes and a small V-shaped formation in the sky are visible above the ships. The overall palette is monochrome sepia with aged paper texture and scattered spots and fine scratches.
