In this edition, however, the prints are folded. This series may be a separate edition of the prints. One print included in the book is missing (no. 4), on which no landscape is depicted., city-view in general, 'veduta', mineral water, Spa, A sepia-toned engraved scene shows a park-like setting with large leafy trees and a sky with horizontal shading and scattered clouds. In the middle ground a stone structure with a conical roof sits inside a low circular wall, adjacent to a stepped terrace leading down into a recessed doorway set into a curved masonry embankment. Groups of people in long dresses and cloaks stand and walk along paths and near the circular enclosure, while another group gathers on rocky ledges beside a rectangular building with a gabled roof and a barred doorway. The foreground features textured grass and shrubbery, and decorative border lines frame the entire image.
