The building has a central doorway with an ornate surround and rows of evenly spaced windows on both floors. To the left of the building an arched gateway set in brick leads into a shaded courtyard where a large urn sits among foliage. Figures populate the street: a group near the left edge includes people with a pack animal and containers, a person sits on the curb, and a pair near the building’s entrance are engaged in conversation. Trees with textured leaves frame the scene across the top and sides, casting patterned shadows on the architecture and ground. The street surface shows linear paving marks and a low wall runs along the left side leading toward the gateway.
