In 1721, an edition appeared containing only the prints: Dutch antiquities, consisting of sixty images, situated in Holland, 1721., castle, Montfoort, An engraving showing a large fortified building with towers and turrets rising from a walled enclosure beside a body of water, rendered in fine parallel hatching lines; the structure features rounded and pointed roofs, arched windows and doorways, and a dome-like cupola atop a central tower, with trees and smaller buildings clustered along the waterfront; in the foreground two figures stand and kneel on a grassy bank near a small shrub, with one figure appearing to hold an object while the other leans forward, and a distant town silhouette is visible on the far shore.
