This series consisted of prints of: Spijk, Nieuwland, Heukelum (3x), Ensapijk, Leerdam, Deil, Gellicum, Asperen, Acquoy and Craijenstein (near Tricht). Later, these prints were used in: Gezigten van voornaame Hollandsche dorpen. Amsterdam: Evert Maaskamp, ca. 1775-1800., city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, Maarssen, A sepia-toned etching shows a canal scene with a narrow bridge and a boat in the water, a pair of figures near the water's edge, and a person seated on the bridge. A multi-story building with a tiled roof and chimneys sits beside the canal, partially obscured by tall leafy trees. People stand and walk along the embankment, a horse-drawn carriage is visible near the building, and small figures appear in the distance along a tree-lined path. The sky is filled with layered, textured clouds rendered in fine horizontal and curved lines.
