Figures in period clothing stand and walk along the path and by the water, with some engaged in play on a grassy area and others near a balustrade. Boats are moored and moving on the river, and swans appear in the water. Tall trees and hedges frame the house and line the riverbank, and the sky is filled with horizontally hatched clouds.
