In 1721, an edition appeared containing only the prints: Dutch antiquities, consisting of sixty images, situated in Holland, 1721., castle, Maarssen, Huis Ter Meer, A detailed monochrome engraving of a large, fortified building beside a body of water, showing tall masonry walls, a stepped gable, pitched roofs, chimneys, and several towers including one with a conical roof topped by a small flag. A wooden bridge or walkway extends across the water along the building, supported by posts visible in the water. Trees with textured foliage and twisting trunks line the left side, and two figures wearing cloaks and hats stand near the water among the trees. Reflections and horizontal line shading indicate the water surface and sky, and the image includes a decorative rectangular cartouche along the bottom edge.
