In 1721 an edition appeared containing only the prints: Dutch antiquities, consisting of sixty images, situated in Holland, 1721., castle, Loenen (Utrecht), Loenersloot, Loenersloot Castle, A detailed monochrome etching showing a waterside scene with a large cylindrical tower connected to a complex of stepped and gabled buildings, bridges spanning a calm channel, and a fortified gatehouse with a tiled roof; fine linework depicts rectangular windows, chimneys, a projecting balcony with latticework, and small birds in the sky; a tall tree stands at the right edge with leafy branches and shrubs at its base; figures in period dress walk and converse along the bank, one accompanied by a small dog; the foreground includes a paved embankment and low grassy areas, while the image is bordered by a decorative frame and a plaque panel centered beneath the scene.
