A large church with a tall bell tower and a pitched roof stands prominently near the middle right, surrounded by smaller buildings and trees. In the square there is a long rectangular building with arched openings and a smaller pavilion-like structure with ornamental windows. Numerous people in period dress are scattered across the square walking, standing in groups, conversing, and tending horses and carts. Several horse-drawn wagons and a variety of carts are positioned around the open area, and a few animals are visible. Trees line parts of the square and decorative clouds fill the sky above.
