The figure has curly hair and a rounded face turned slightly to the side, with one arm raised so the hand touches the chin and the other hand extended outward with fingers slightly curled. The torso and limbs show fine crosshatching and shading to indicate musculature and form. One leg is crossed in front of the other, the feet positioned on the plinth with visible toes. The vertical support beside the figure has textured shading, and a hatched shadow falls on the background to the right. The overall image is monochrome with visible engraving lines and a plain, lightly textured background.
