See folio 17v., the building of the Tower of Babel, Nimrod may be present, supervising or assisting the construction, A tall stone tower with multiple crenellated balconies rises from a rocky, plant-strewn base; the tower shows layered masonry with arched doorways and circular windows, an external wooden crane structure near the top holding a hooked pulley and a suspended round object, and small human figures on and near the upper balconies interacting with the crane while a person leans over a parapet; decorative elements include a projecting wooden balcony with carved panels, scalloped parapet detailing, and foliage at the tower's foot beside a winding path with scattered stones.
