According to a note on the verso, the print was on p. 202 of this album., personifications of countries, nations, states, districts, Japanese, non-Christian religions (including institutions, customs and antiquities), Japan, A seated figure wearing a feathered headdress and layered necklaces sits cross-legged atop a tall plinth, holding a fan in each outstretched hand; the figure wears loose, draped clothing and a chest ornament with multiple small faces. In front of the plinth, three kneeling figures are bent forward over a large unfolded map or sheet, with scattered objects like a round decorative paddle and other small items nearby.
