Gout, printmaker, after design by, publisher, paper, engraving, gravure, height 210 mm x width 320 mm, calligraphy, A cream-colored sheet filled with dark flowing ink flourishes that form large looping spirals and curving lines across the page, with a dense cluster of small, tightly wound loops arranged in a vertical conical shape near the right edge, and another ornate cluster of overlapping spirals and curved strokes on the left that create layered circular motifs; between these ornamental swirls there is a block of smaller, tightly spaced handwriting rendered in finer dark strokes; the ink varies in thickness creating bold bands and delicate hairlines, and small decorative dots and short hooked marks accent some of the curves, all set against a subtly textured paper background.
