The dinner took place on April 6, 1895, and the dramatic performance was a reference to the dissolution of the society on November 10, 1894., printmaker: Édouard-Henri Avril, in or before 1895-04, paper, drypoint, intaglio printmaking technique, letterpress printing, drypoint with plate tone in red, text in letterpress on the inside, height 270 mm x width 140 mm, printing press, the (nude) human figure, 'Corpo humano' (Ripa) - AA - female human figure, book, projectiles, explosives, A vertical illustration rendered in a sepia tone shows a reclining nude woman lying on her back with one arm extended above her head and the other bent upward holding a small object; her hair spreads beneath her head and her legs are slightly bent. Above and behind her there is a chaotic pile of overturned furniture and scattered books surrounded by billowing clouds of smoke. Loose pages and open books float in the air around the smoky mass. The composition has fine linework and crosshatching, with the scene framed by a pale border.
