It is not always clear whether the pasticci were made by him or by his studio. Not all pasticci have survived., the dead Christ in Mary's lap, A black and white engraved scene showing a reclining male figure with a cloth around his waist, his eyes closed and his body draped over a ledge, supported by a seated woman wearing flowing garments and a head covering whose eyes are closed and whose head leans back, a second adult figure behind them with a visible face and hand resting on the woman's shoulder, a crown of thorns and a small tool or object placed on the ledge nearby, a background divided between a dark textured wall and a lighter landscape with a tree and distant hills, and drapery and folds beneath and around the figures.
