Two horses flank the chariot, their heads visible with bridles and manes rendered in fine lines, one horse appearing on each side of the central figure. The chariot wheels and wooden components are depicted with wood grain and metal fittings, and ropes or straps connect the harnesses. The background is densely crosshatched, creating a dark textured sky, and the foreground includes draped fabric and the carved step of the chariot platform. The image is bordered by a lighter margin with some small smudges and edge wear.
