In the foreground two figures sit and kneel on a woven raft made of rounded logs; one figure holds a long pole and looks sideways while the other bends forward reaching into a basket of fish. Several stylized birds with long necks and patterned feathers appear in and above the water, some holding fish in their beaks and one perched on the raft edge. To the right a larger boat with a woven canopy carries a seated figure wearing a wide-brimmed hat and holding a pole, and a large upright woven screen is set on the boat. Various fish lie on the raft and the water surface shows scattered fish and a detached wing floating nearby. The drawing is bordered by thin ruled lines.
