In the left foreground a young man in traditional clothing holds a long pole and reaches toward a pack of dogs and three humanlike figures with fur engaged in a struggle on the ground, while another dog leaps nearby. Toward the center a small figure with a woven hat swings a curved staff. On the right a man wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a long coat stands holding a staff, beside a saddled horse led by another similarly dressed figure seated on the horse, both figures showing patterned clothing and visible facial hair. The ground is lightly textured with plants and small rocks, and clusters of foliage and a small house appear in the middle distance.
