Several stylized trees and clusters of plants dot the scene, and birds are drawn flying above the distant hills. In the foreground four figures in decorative garments stand or walk on a sandy shoreline; one figure wears a patterned robe and a tall hat and holds a slender staff, another carries an ornate double paddle with floral motifs, a third is bent forward with a wide hat and loose clothing, and a fourth wears a shorter robe and holds a small object. Ornamental rocks and floral motifs border the scene, and rippling water lines define the lake and its edges.
