The lower scene depicts an interior with a tiled floor and a rectangular table draped with a long cloth, an older bearded man seated behind the table wearing a tall hat is attended by a standing figure in patterned garments, two other standing figures in plain robes occupy the foreground near the table, desk items including a brush holder and a flat object are placed on the table, this scene is also enclosed in a similar ornate rounded frame.
