The left woman is leaning forward with one hand pointing toward the cards and the other resting on the table, and the right woman is also leaning in with one hand hovering over the cards and the other resting near the table edge. The table holds a small teapot and a cup, and both women are seated on low stools with curved legs and decorative tops. The scene is enclosed within a thin rectangular border on a light, slightly speckled background.
