The left oval depicts a group of men seated closely around a table in an interior with a chandelier overhead; one man has a radiant halo behind his head and others lean toward each other with varied expressions and postures as hands reach across the table and a small vessel sits on the floor near the bench. The right oval shows an interior where a man with a radiant halo kneels and washes the foot of a seated man while other standing and seated figures observe; architectural ceiling beams and a circular light fixture are visible above, and a shallow basin rests beneath the foot being washed. The engraving uses fine line hatching for shading and the figures wear draped robes and have beards and long hair.
