Another face appears on a panel or canvas that the woman holds, the hand holding the panel visible with delicate fingers and a brush held near the painted face. The background consists of closely spaced horizontal lines. The color palette includes muted flesh tones, pale fabrics, and darker blues and reds in the drapery.
