A broom or brush with bound bristles and a spoon are visible among the objects. A large cabbage or head of lettuce and other produce sit near the center foreground. To the left a small human figure leans toward the lidded vessel, and a second small figure stands nearby. In the upper right a bird hangs upside down near the carved scroll, and a cat’s head peers upward from the ornamentation. The engraving is rendered with fine parallel hatching and crosshatching lines that create texture and shading across the composition.
