The cherubs hold a quiver with arrows and a bow, and floral garlands and leafy motifs entwine the surrounding curls of the decorative frame. Cross-hatched shading and fine linework create texture on the cloud, the curling moldings, and distant wispy clouds in the background, while a small treetop and foliage appear near the lower portion of the composition. The overall palette is monochrome, rendered in delicate engraved lines on a light paper background.
