Behind the sitter a second attendant stands at a table holding a wig above the seated man’s head. The room contains framed landscape pictures on the walls, a round object hanging on the wall near the table, and a ladder-like support for the easel. The floor and walls are illustrated with closely spaced hatch lines and the lower portion of the image contains a block of decorative script.
