In the left panel a winged figure floats above a pedestal, holding a long trumpet to the mouth and draped in flowing garments; beneath the pedestal are scrolls and stylized floral scrollwork with repeated circular floral motifs connected by curling stems and leafy acanthus forms. The right panel features symmetrical foliate scrolls and floral rosettes framing a central swan with outstretched wings perched on a leafy base, and below that an oval medallion containing a bust of a robed person surrounded by more scrolling foliage and ornamental acanthus leaves. The engraving is monochrome with fine line work, hatching, and crosshatching that define textures and shading across the figures, birds, leaves, and scrolls.
