The figure holds a bagpipe with a large inflated bag pressed against the chest and a chanter held near the mouth, a curved drone with a string of beads extending above the shoulder, and hands placed on the instrument. The person wears wrapped, crisscrossed footwear and leggings with visible folds and shading, and a belt with hanging objects at the waist. The background is plain with a faint ground line and small tufts of grass beneath the feet.
