In the upper section a carved fountain features two standing nude statues on a curved ledge beside a tiered basin with water spilling into a lower receptacle, and a reclining sphinx-like creature rests on a square plinth near trimmed trees and layered hedges under a sky with linear cloud strokes. Below, a central rocky mound supports a sculptural group of two cherubic children embracing a rearing horse above cascading waterfalls that flow into a pool, flanked by tall masonry pillars topped with decorative vases and framed by leafy trees and shrubs. The composition is rendered in fine, cross-hatched lines with attention to architectural details and foliage.
