The man wears a turban and loose garments and holds the woman around her waist with one arm while a curved sword hangs from his other hand. The woman is draped in flowing, translucent fabric with one shoulder exposed and her hair adorned with small decorations; she reaches outward with one arm and looks back over her shoulder. The scene includes architectural elements such as a carved pillar at the right edge and a decorative relief on the left wall, and there is a play of light and shadow across the figures and the background.
