The scene includes a standing figure leaning forward with an arm extended toward the tree trunk, wearing a long skirt and head covering, and another figure bent over with their head close to the tree and an arm draped across another person. Two older-looking figures stand nearby, wrapped in cloaks and head coverings, one leaning on a staff and the other holding something rounded. The trees have detailed, textured bark and twisted branches, with grasses and shrubbery at their bases. The ground is uneven with visible strokes suggesting roots and soil, and the overall work is rendered with fine, parallel and cross-hatched lines.
