To the right a decorated viewing stand with many people inside stands above the field, and behind it a domed building with architectural details and surrounding low buildings are visible. The foreground crowd includes men and women in long coats and dresses, some seated, some standing and conversing, and a few mounted riders are visible along a pathway between the formations. Trees and distant buildings form the backdrop under a sky with broadly shaded clouds.
