A wooden bed with rumpled sheets and blankets sits on the left beneath a window with a diamond-patterned pane. Shelves above the bed hold folded cloth and a few small objects, and fabric hangs from a high beam and over a wooden peg. A woven basket filled with linens rests beside a rounded wooden chair with a draped cloth. The floor shows scattered garments, a small basin with a lid, and a piece of cloth near a floorboard gap. Light and shadow create contrast across the walls, beams, and the various textiles.
