In front of the tree, three figures stand and sit: a standing woman in a long dress facing forward, a small child beside her in period clothing with a hat and a stick, and a seated person on a bench near the tree trunk. To the left, a building façade with windows, beams, and a doorway is visible, and a person inside the doorway embraces another figure. A small pig walks across the foreground on the left, and additional architectural elements, roofs, and foliage appear behind and around the main tree. The image is rendered in fine pen or pencil lines with shading and hatching.
