A seated figure wearing a hat and cloak is on a bench outside the doorway while another small figure stands nearby. A chair sits inside the open door and a table with a jug rests against the cottage wall. A wheel and foliage are visible near the base of the trees, and the scene is rendered with soft shading and line work across the paper.
