The print was included in: Collection d'imitations dessins d'après les principals maîtres hollandais et flamands, London, C. Josi, 1821., landscape with bridge, viaduct or aqueduct, Rome, Milvian bridge, A sepia-toned drawing showing a stone bridge with multiple arches crossing a river, a fortified tower and gatehouse at the near end of the bridge, and small groups of people on the bridge and along the riverbank. On the water near the foreground a rowboat with seated figures is being attended by standing and seated figures on the shore, with a man gesturing toward the boat. Barrels and sacks sit on the riverbank near the figures. Trees with leafy canopies rise on the right bank, and low hills and distant buildings are visible in the background. The sky is mostly empty and there is a small handwritten inscription near the upper left corner.
