In the upper left a pair of women’s heads are sketched, one facing forward with a lace-like head covering and the other in profile with a hood. To the right above the rider two seated children are drawn near a small building with a tower, one child wearing a rounded cap and the other a headscarf, with simple dishes beside them. In the midground to the right a standing figure in a cloak faces away from a grazing horse, and distant hills and sparse trees form a landscape background. The composition is framed with a thin border around the sheet.
