On the front page of the publication titled: De Penning der Weduwe., offertory-box, offertory-bag, widow, A monochrome etching showing three robed figures standing around a tall wooden box with carved decorative motifs on its front; the figure on the left wears a patterned, flowing gown and a tall headdress with a veil, the central figure wears a dark hat and layered garments with a cloak, and the figure on the right wears a long dark robe with a pale hooded veil covering the head and shoulders while leaning forward; hands of the figures are visible near the top of the box, one hand extended over an opening; the background is filled with crosshatched shading and arch-like lines.
