On the near bank are rough stones, wooden beams, barrels, and small boats, one boat with two silhouetted figures seated. Trees and dense foliage appear near the center left, while churchlike structures and tall rooflines rise toward the background. The sky is filled with swirling, hatched cloud patterns, and fine crosshatching and line work define the textures of masonry, roof tiles, and water.
