To the right, steep, textured cliffs rise from the beach with layered striations and shadowed recesses. In the middistance low rocky outcrops and a distant cliff line stretch toward the horizon. The sky above is filled with soft, streaked clouds and a few small birds in flight, and the water near the shore reflects the tones and lines of the rocks and sky.
