Vegetation including bushes and trees clusters beside the buildings, and a simple wooden fence runs along the near edge of the scene. A simple cart wheel or wagon element leans by one of the buildings, and long poles or beams are propped against or near the roofs. Above, a wide sky filled with large, textured clouds occupies much of the composition. The image is rendered with fine line work and hatching, creating tonal variation and detail across roofs, foliage, ground, and sky.
