Figures with varied hairstyles and facial hair are seated closely, some leaning, some reclining, many with eyes closed or looking downward. One central figure has a radiating halo-like pattern around the head. Plates and bowls with food rest on the table, and hands reach toward them. Drapery and textured fabrics cover the floor and the figures, with folds and layered garments visible. In the background vertical window-like openings appear behind the group, and ornate upholstery or tapestry textures form the canopy above. The scene is framed by a scalloped edged border with stitched detailing.
