Scattered on the sandy ground are several pairs of simple footwear and a few small objects. In the middle ground a lone figure walks away toward distant low hills, and beyond them a small cluster of figures stands near a tent-like formation with a lone animal standing on a rise to the right. The scene is rendered in muted monochrome tones with soft, broad brushwork and an expansive empty sky above.
