The surrounding frame is textured and carved with repeating rounded motifs and inset borders, showing areas of rough surface and wear. The stone surfaces display a range of tones from light to dark, with visible cracks, chips, and areas of erosion. The lower portion of the framed piece casts a soft shadow onto a plain background, and small pieces of adhesive or patched material are visible along the inner edge of the bottom frame.
