In front of the church to the left stands a tall statue of a robed figure on a multi-tiered pedestal surrounded by a low metal fence; the pedestal is flanked by sculpted lion figures and additional carved ornamentation. To the far right a narrow brick bell tower rises with arched openings and a pointed top. Low buildings with shuttered windows occupy the left background behind the statue, and steps, lamp posts, and a paved open square appear in the foreground. The sky above is clear.
