The seated individuals wear long, loose garments and round caps, and the standing person wears a long dark robe with a wrapped head covering and sandals. The cart shows visible wood grain and rope attachments, and a circular pattern is faintly visible on the cart's side. Behind them, a wall topped with a ledge runs horizontally across the scene, with leafless tree branches and parts of a building visible above the wall. A tall ornate lamppost or column stands to the right against the wall, and a small pile of leaves rests near its base on the ground. The image has a muted, sepia-toned appearance.
