The building near the summit has a covered veranda with evenly spaced window openings and decorative eaves, and a tall slender mast with rigging rises beside it. Dense foliage and trees cling to the hillside, partially obscuring the masonry. In the foreground a grassy open area contains several standing figures wearing draped garments and a small group of seated children. The sky above is mostly clear with a pale, even tone.
