Room in the house of Antonin Terme with its collection of antiquities, statue of Hercules, clock and candlesticks, photograph, page, Liège, c. 1880 - in or before 1885, photographer, paper, platinum process, height 220 mm x width 165 mm, interior of the house, art collection, art gallery, A dark mantel with decorative panels and medallion reliefs holds various small porcelain and sculpted figurines and a central clock, flanked by two ornate wall sconces with candles; above the mantel is a large framed mirror with an embellished frame reflecting part of the room, and to the right a framed picture is hung at an angle above a patterned chair with carved legs; the floor in front of the mantel shows a checkerboard tile strip and the surrounding walls feature moulding and patterned wallpaper.
