The roofline features a steeply pitched section with numerous decorative dormers and finials, and crenellated balustrades run along the upper levels. At ground level a set of stone steps and an entrance with carved railings are visible, and a carriage with horses is parked on the street beside the building. Adjacent lower buildings with plain facades and arched doorways flank the ornate structure, and the scene is captured in a monochrome, aged photograph style.
